SIAMS Report

SIAMS Report

As CCUA is a Church of England School, we are also subject to a SIAMS Inspection. SIAMS stands for Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools, and is a process that all Church of England schools go through, on a 5 year cycle. This is a rigorous process with many similarities to an Ofsted inspection, although with a tighter focus.

From September 2023 a new inspection framework was introduced, and we are delighted to share that the inspection findings indicated that Christ Church Upper Armley CE Primary School is living up to its foundation as a Church school.  Through our Christian Vision we enable children and adults to flourish.

During their visit, the inspector met with pupils, leaders, staff, governors, trustees and parents, and in their report they highlighted the warm relationships and inclusive ethos that run through every aspect of school life.

Some of our most treasured quotes from the report

Pupils consistently show kindness and care towards one another, reflecting a culture where the vision shapes relationships
Christ Church Upper Armley is an oasis of calm, care and love within the community which it diligently serves
Warm, caring relationships are at the heart of Christ Church Upper Armley
